More Action: More Trees: Locally

Join the Friends of the Forest of Avon Trust

Becoming a Friend is a great way to help grow this new, independent organisation dedicated to trees in your local area. Contributions directly help the Trust to provide Free Trees for communities; promote the Garden Forest and deliver Wood School: engaging all ages and abilities in their local woodlands. It also helps us campaign for more trees locally.

Contributions start at £3/ month for a household or in multiples of £3/ month for each 4 members of a school board of governors, or local council management committee.

As well as directly supporting a new and local charity, benefits include:

  • A regular newsletter and all other Trust publications
  • A free tree/shrub (and sticker) for those joining the Garden Forest
  • An annual sticker for display (corporate members)
  • Free advice on tree planting and maintenance
  • Half price Tree Dedications.

The more you give, the more we can do. For example, in a year

  • £6 per month buys 12 packs of 6 leaflets to help all sections of the community easily access local woodlands
  • £12 per month purchases 30 locally grown trees to be planted across the area
  • £25 per month pays for 15 metres of quality path and helps to open up local woodlands to all sections of the community
  • £50 per month funds woodland discovery days for 30 children from inner city communities

Can I join online?

We need you to fill in and sign a form, both for the bank mandate and the Gift Aid tax relief- unfortunately this is not possible on line.

You can however, download the form from this page, fill it and post it to us.
