Avon Valley Adventure and Wildlife Park offers a fantastic day out for the whole family – it’s a river based park with animals, birds, children’s play area, assault course, boating and fishing.
Located between Bristol and Bath, Avon Valley Adventure and Wildlife Park helps you make the most of the beautiful Avon Valley.
How to get there…
Avon Valley Adventure and Wildlife Park is well signed from the A4 between Bristol and Bath near Keynsham. You turn off the A4 onto Pixash Lane and on to the entrance of the country park. Entrance to the park is £6 adults, £5.50 Senior Citizens, £5.50 children and under 2’s go free. There is plenty of parking in the field by the river. The park is open from spring to autumn from 10am-6pm, Tuesdays to Sundays, except bank holidays, (this is apart form children’s school holidays, when the park is open every day).
What to see and do…
There is plenty for children to do of all ages with the pets corner, adventure playground, miniature railway, quad bikes, children’s assault course and a soft play area.
There is also a café and barbecue area, making for ideal refreshment stops, as well as a riverside trail which allows you to see a whole host of different animals. You can see several varieties of duck, sheep and goats, interesting breeds of cattle, Shetland ponies, shire horses, fallow deer, wallabies and llamas!
