Mannings Wood

Picture of Mannings WoodMannings Wood is a new woodland, planted in 1996 and owned by the Woodland Trust. This 14.65 hectare (36.20 acre) broadleaf woodland on the northern slopes of Dundry Hill is now well established. The site has full public access and offers views over the city of Bristol to the north and Chew Valley Lake and the Mendip Hills AONB to the south. There are 3 access points – all from public rights of way.

Access

There are no hard surfaced paths and there are frequent climbs and steep slopes. There is no car park and no parking available nearby.

How to get there...

You can get to Mannings Wood via the public footpaths that run from East Dundry and Hartcliffe, (OS Explorer 155, grid ref: ST 583 665).
