This Grade 2 registered landscape, with 850 acres of woodland and grassland, and Grade 1 listed mansion rank amongst the country's finest. Wonder among the woodlands and meadows or ride around the UK's first urban mountain bike trail, whatever you choose to do the views across Bristol to Dundry and the Cotswold Hills are magnificent.
Once the gracious home of the Smyth family and designed by Humphrey Repton, Ashton Court Estate is now available for everybody to enjoy. Discover the magnificent old oak trees and see the deer graze in an estate that first became a deer park over six hundred years ago. The estate is an important site for wildlife which is recognised by its SSSI status. This is where the Forest of Avon planted its first tree over 15 years ago and also where it recently celebrated planting it's millionth tree.
Public facilities at Ashton Court include a visitor centre, café, toilets, mountain bike trail, orienteering course, golf course and miniature railway.
