Manor Road Community Woodland
Manor Road Community Woodland is a new broadleaved woodland between Keynsham and Saltford, planted at stages between 1993 and 2006 by local people, voluntary groups and local contractors. The site is owned by Bath & North East Somerset Council and has full public access. The woodland covers an area of some 15 hectares (37 acres) and is well used by the surrounding community. There are a number of ponds on the site as well as an extensive new wildflower meadow. Manor Road Community Woodland is one of the best examples of new community woodland in the Forest of Avon.
Manor Road has recently been designated as a Local Nature Reserve.
