Oke Park Wood

Oke Park Wood is a 2.5 hectare new woodland located on the northern fringe of Bristol, owned and managed by Bristol City Council.  This new community woodland has full public access, so you are welcome to visit at any time.

The trees planted are all native broadleaves such as ash, oak, field maple, hazel and wild cherry.  Pupils from the local school chose the name 'Oke Park Wood' and planned and planted the new woodland along with the local community.  The site also has large areas of grassed open space and excellent views across the Severn Estuary and Ridge.

Access

Most paths and walking areas are grass, but a hard surfaced path crosses the site which is suitable for wheechairs and prams. There is no designated car park, so if you intend to park in the residential area adjacent to the site, please do so with consideration for the needs of local residents.
