Wheat Hill Farm

Wheat Hill Farm is a new broadleaved woodland of some 8 hectares (19.5 acres) near Easter Compton, situated on the Community Forest Path. The wood was planted in 1997 and 2002 by a local farmer.

Access

The site has full public access and can be entered via public footpaths. All paths are grass on level terrain with no steep slopes. There is no car park. If you intend to park in the residential area of Easter Compton near the site, please do so with consideration for the needs of local residents.

How to get there...

Wheat Hill Farm can only be accessed via public footpaths.   (OS grid reference ST 578 825).   

If possible, please try to use environmentally friendly forms of transport wherever possible.  The site can be easily accessed via public footpaths.  If you are planning on cycling, click here to view the Sustrans website showing a map of the National Cycle Network around Wheat Hill Farm.  Please be aware, however, that the closest you can get to the site by cycle is approx 0.25 km - the only way to finally access the site is from public footpaths.
