Wapley Bushes

Picture of flower meadowsSituated close to Yate, Wapley Bushes is an ancient semi-natural woodland with two flower meadows and a new plantation site of mixed native broadleaves. Fantastic in the springtime with its carpets of cowslips and woodland flowers, this woodland is great for walks and picnics. It is a Local Nature Reserve.

Access

There is a network of un-surfaced paths, some slopes, no dedicated parking - the site should be accessed via public footpaths, 4.7 hectares (11 acres).

How to get there...

You can get to Wapley Bushes from Besom Lane or via public footpaths from Yate or Wapley Common.
