Weston Big Wood
Situated near Portishead, overlooking the Gordano Valley Weston Big Wood is an ancient broadleaf woodland, a Site of Special Scientific Interest, and a Site of Nature Conservation Interest. It is owned by the Avon Wildlife Trust, 36 hectares (86 acres).
Access
It has a network of un-surfaced paths with some slopes. The site should be accessed via public footpaths. There is no designated car park. If you intend to park in the residential area adjacent to the site, please do so with consideration for the needs of local residents.
How to get there... You can get to Weston Big Wood from the Valley Road, Portishead, or via public footpaths in Portishead.
